930 Club : Washington, DC : 06 22 2011 :
Husband and Wife duo, Kindred The Family Soul gave the people at 930 Club just what they wanted – A SHOW! They opened the show with a track from their forthcoming album “Love Has No Recession”, for which I did the album cover photoshoot, and continued the night with more new music and hits from the previous albums. It seems they have a lot of fun on stage together, and it’s always cool to see Fatin take a photo of Aja while she does her solo number, “Woman First”. He always looks so proud of his woman.
At the very end of the show, Philadelphia’s Lady Alma graced the stage for a few minutes, showing us that she can rock the 930 Club stage with NO MIC, and still be heard. Wow! Very impressive.
I’ve been rockin’ with Black Alley for quite some time, so I’m always pleased with their performance. Great band!
